Purposeful Repurposing

This journal was made from a mail order catalog. the pages were doubled to thicken them enough to work on. Because of the shape of the book which was long and narrow, I decided to explore faces that were long and narrow. The colors were minimal, so the subject became a bit somber but it is still one of my favorites and explores some of my feelings about religion and the violence in the world around us.
